I receive many inquires about research and collaboration opportunities and other requests. I always welcome these emails, but to ensure that I respond in a timely manner, please use the following formatting guidance:

For Letters of Recommendation, include [LOR Request] in the subject of your email.

For Research Assistant positions, include [RA Request] in the subject of your email.

Please note, Research Assistant positions are limited exclusively to currently-enrolled Northeastern University students. I am unable to host volunteers, visitors, paid researchers, or unpaid researchers from outside the university.

If you are interested in joining my lab as a PhD Student, include [Prospective PhD] in the subject of your email.

Please note, I am not actively recruiting PhD students, but may consider highly qualified applicants to the Interdisciplinary Design and Media or Network Science PhD programs at Northeastern University. In your email, please specify which program you plan to apply to and what your main research areas are.

Occasionally, I hire full time Postdoctoral Researchers or 6-month Research Co-ops. When these positions are available, I will post them on Workday (postdocs) or NUWorks (co-ops). Please apply directly through these portals, I do not accept applications by email.
